QC JEWELRY will launch a new loop-in-loop silver chains workshop starting in September. Previously held gemstone signet ring and cloisonné enamelling jewellery workshops are also available by appointment, feel free to inquire!
從早期青銅時代直到中世紀末期，環中環一直被用作為首飾的鏈條。這些鏈條可以單獨佩戴，也可以疊戴或用作不同珠寶類型的組件，因此它們至今仍然很受歡迎。

The loop-in-loop was the predominant chain type used for gold and silver jewellery from the early Bronze Age in the Middle East, through the Classical period until the end of the Middle Ages. Since these chains can be worn alone or used as layering and components in many jewellery types, they are still very popular nowadays.
In this workshop, we will teach you how to make and fuse the jump rings and weave them together to make a bracelet or necklace.
Please note this course is an advanced class, so participants need more patience and skill to complete.

This summer, QC jewelry will be holding a time-limited gemstone signet ring workshop, allowing you to hand-craft your own signet ring and learning to set a precious piece of gemstone on top, making it a perfect workshop for the crafty fashionistas!
During the workshop, you will learn basic silversmithing techniques such as piercing, filing, annealing, soldering, polishing and bezel setting. If you are looking to challenge yourself and add an extra treasure to your jewellery collection, do not miss the chance to join us!
琺瑯，又稱搪瓷，是指將玻璃粉末熔結在金屬表面或其他基質所製的工藝品，而掐絲琺瑯則是金屬胎琺琅工藝裡最常見的一類。金屬胎嵌琺琅，法語通稱Cloisonné，意為分割搪瓷釉料的矮牆。是指通過將細金屬絲彎曲成花紋再焊接或黏附於金屬胎上從而達到分割搪瓷釉料的效果。
參加者可以使用色彩豐富的琺瑯配合金屬絲線，勾勒出屬於你自己的圖案和色彩，創作出富有當代感的工藝首飾。
Cloisonne enamelling is one of the most recognised enamelling techniques. The history of this technique traces back to the Byzantine Age, and is believed to be the very first enamelling technique.
Cloisonne enamelling can be easily distinguished by the strands of metal inlaid onto the surface. The compartments outlined using metal creates isolated cells, which will then be furnished with powdered enamel. The level of detail associated with this technique is unparalleled by any other.
A Cloisonne enamelling workshop will be held at QC jewelry Studio. Participants could make use of metal strands and design their own pattern freely within a given floral-shaped copper plate. Together with self-picked coloured enamel creating a piece of pendant or earring that is truly one-of-a-kind and unique to yourself.
